New Final Fantasy on DS Leaked

RPG masterminds Square Enix recently set up a countdown timer on their website to excite fans about a new Final Fantasy aside from the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII. Rumors spread about a Final Fantasy for the PSP, one for the 360, hell even one for the PC. But this picture that was recently put up under the countdown timer gave it all away:






As reported by IGN, this mystery game is actually Final Fantasy Gaiden and will be released for the Nintendo DSi. The game also refers to "The Four Warriors of Light" with the chance the other 2 warriors will be riding the dragon at the end of the timer. So far details to the game are scarce but it seems to be a traditional RPG: 14 year old boy with a princess to save, turn-based combat and menu control. The game seems to begin with 14 years old being the prime princess-saving age. Tons of customization will be included in what's looking like another good RPG for Nintendo handheld fans to salivate over.

No word on what we're missing or when we're gonna get the full scoop, but I guess we'll just have to wait till zero's hit across the board to see.
